Sports rare: 'chinlon'

The chinlon is a traditional sport of Myanmar. It is a combination between sport and dance, a team without opponent. Chinlon Although not a competitive sport, is said to be the sport of football more competitive. The goal is not to lose or win, but to see who makes the most beautiful real magic with the ball.
A unique team of six players pass the ball between them with feet and knees as they walk in circles. One of six players gets inside the circle and begins to make movements that are linked with others, doing a dance while doing fancy stuff with the ball. The other players will help if you miss the ball, but only with a bang. If the ball falls to the ground, the game starts again.
chinlon means "ball-stick" in Burmese. The ball moves in circles, and makes different noises depending on what part of the body with your partner the strike. Players use six contact points for hitting the ball, toes, the inside and outside of the foot, sole, heel and knee. It is played barefoot or with a very fine chinlon shoes that let you feel the ground and the ball of the most direct way possible. The circle game has a diameter of 6.7 meters. The best surface to play chinlon is dry, dirty and hard, but you can play on any flat surface.
The chinlon has more than 1500 years old, and played for the first time the kingship of Burma. Over the centuries, players have developed more than 200 different ways to hit the ball. Most movements are similar to the traditional dance of Burma martial arts. Some very complex movements are hitting the ball the back, without seeing the ball. In chinlon, it is very important how to place your hands, torso, arms and head during movement. The move is considered correct only if the position of the elements mentioned above is correct.
